Optics 1.0 Vision Center in Shostka. Customer review

Are there any companies with an unrivaled reputation in Ukraine? I will surprise you, but yes! And this is “Optics 1.0 Vision Center” in the city of Shostka!

I work a lot at the computer, sometimes I do quite careful things, when some dirt can get into my eye. I always try to protect my vision and eyes from small fractions flying in all directions. However, sometimes something can get into my eye. And that happened the other day.

The story began on a day when there was no light and I accidentally hit a plate on the dryer and broke it. I broke it and broke it – I thought, but literally half an hour later I was faced with the feeling of some foreign object in my eye – as if an eyelash was stuck somewhere. My attempts to get it out were unsuccessful, so I put Visine drops in my eyes and went to bed, hoping that the next morning the situation would get better. But, alas, no. Moreover – I suffered all night, because when I closed my eyes I had a feeling of cutting. So it became clear that something was wrong. In the morning I decided to look for an ophthalmologist. It was Sunday, so there was almost no chance of getting to him at my place of residence. We decided to look in the neighbouring Shostka. Among other places, I came across a strange company. Because…

The company had a 100% reputation. 183 reviews, the average rating of which was 5 points. I couldn’t believe my eyes, because I know how such ratings arise. More precisely, I understand how much money it would take to make such a number of “paid” reviews. Another option means that these reviews are not empty words, and the company really knows its business.

When I started to take an interest in the direction of work today (because is it a clinic, or, first of all, optics?) – it turned out that the company has its roots in the city of Sumy since 1997. So it is not surprising that the approach to clients has only been developed over the years, and in a remote part of the Sumy region – the city of Shostka, some of the best specialists in their profile have been found. That is why I decided to turn to them.

Experience

Having dialed the company’s phone number at 8 am, a robotic voice informed me that I had dialed outside of working hours and that they would call me back. But my condition was, let’s be honest, so-so, so at 9:01 am I dialed myself. A girl politely greeted me, to whom I briefly explained my problem. I did not expect that they would immediately run to help me, because you have to understand that we live in a time when in a regular clinic I would probably get to an ophthalmologist in about a week. Because first you have to make an appointment with your family doctor, then you have to come to the clinic and make an appointment with the doctor according to your electronic referral, and… wait until it goes through. Here I was told that they could not make an appointment for today, but from 11 am the doctor will be in town and will be able to help me.

Having found transport, we set off in search of help. It was not for nothing that I clarified what was not very clear – is the clinic, or is it, a classic optician, because the website contains information that, among other things, it also performs surgeries. The list of what the institution does is truly impressive:

Of course, not all of this is available locally in Sumy and you need to check with the operator, but I think their equipment will be of a slightly higher level than what you can find at your local clinic. So there was no doubt that I needed it from them.

When I arrived at the reception, the girl immediately recognized me and asked me to wait near the office. There were quite a lot of people that day and everyone needed some help. However, as it turned out, most of these people were accompanying people. So I got to the doctor almost immediately. The doctor examined me using special equipment. Half of the examination took place after I was given some drops. She asked me if I felt better or not. At that moment, the feeling of pain subsided a little and my condition was really better.

As it turned out, I didn’t have any splinters or anything else in my eye. However, it’s possible that the eye was damaged by something that had gotten into it before, which is why I had that unpleasant feeling. I was prescribed Thiotriazolin eye drops ( do not use without consulting a doctor ). The doctor told me to put them in my eyes several times until the evening, and to monitor my condition the next day. If it gets worse, to see an ophthalmologist. Today is Tuesday, and my condition has become more stable. I don’t feel any irritation in my eye and I can go about my daily activities. Thanks to the help of an experienced specialist (unfortunately, I don’t know his name), everything has returned to normal.

I had different experiences of going to private hospitals, but their ratings did not always indicate the quality of services (as was the case with the famous Ortho Sano in Rivne , or “Aniko” there ). It was all the more pleasant to understand that you can simply find the specialist you need in a city like Shostka, and they will really help you. The consultation cost only 300 UAH (around $7), and this (in my memory) is the cheapest consultation with a doctor in many years. Because usually the price tag starts at 400 UAH (around $9.5) and above.

So are there any clinics with honest reviews? I think so. And Optika 1.0 Vision Center is one of them 🙂
