exhibition-everyone-has-talent-the-path-to-yourself-by-oleksandra-kovalchuk-master-class_3

Nothing inspires more than someone’s creativity. And it’s even better when this creativity receives publicity in the form of an exhibition. We share our impressions and photos from the event.

Despite the fact that our town is not that big, it is home to many talented and versatile craftsmen. We have the opportunity to observe their work even now – during the war. This post, as an example, is being written when the sounds of gunfire and the roar of enemy drone engines are heard. So I hope that it (the post) and the photos will be able to distract you from those same sounds for a moment and enjoy the work of Ms. Alexandra.

Oleksandra Kovalchuk, during her creative path, managed to try herself in different directions. Thus, the exhibition presented not only the main part of the works in the form of flower bouquets made of soap, but also plaster pots, knitted toys, and even an installation in the form of a fireplace, which Ms. Oleksandra annually decorates according to the symbol of the year. In each work, you can see the author’s love for her product and type of activity. Each flower in the bouquet is already a work of art in itself, and when it is combined in a composition – you can’t even imagine how such beauty can be used for its intended purpose.

During the opening of the exhibition, the craftswoman talked about how she manages to make incredible works with a combination of several colours. She also shared another area of her work – making clay (and not only) pots. What’s more, at the exhibition, everyone had the opportunity to try their hand at making a product with their own hands! This combination of the idea of being inspired by the author’s works with the opportunity to try something new and unusual for themselves was met with sincere smiles and gratitude from visitors. They had the opportunity to take with them not only handmade products, but also something more – inspiration for creativity and a desire to create something.

Perhaps, in this sincere desire to tell and share her knowledge and skills, one can see the soul of the author of the exhibition. Her sincere smile and the experience she shared that day became a ray of light in these dark times. I suggest you immerse yourself in the journey through the world of Oleksandra Kovalchuk in this video from the opening of the exhibition:

I also invite you to look at the photos taken during the master class on making plaster pots and figures.

If you like the things that Oleksandra makes, you can write to her on Instagram or Facebook . More works and beauty in the Facebook group Oleksandra’s Soap Bouquets .
